Why don’t I see more product mix from Biomass in my
state’s RPS (renewable Portfolio Standard)?
That is simple, large revenue is derived from wind and solar
because of their “renewable attributes”. Currently there is
only one organization that is qualified in an unregulated
market to certify a technology as “green”. Let our expert
consultants help you navigate this area. We can help unlock
previously unknown streams of revenue through our broker

What is a TREC, REC, or Balanced Future Green Tags? Calculate
Also known as RECs, green tags, green energy certificates,
or tradable renewable certificates, certificates represent
the technology and environmental attributes of electricity
generated from renewable sources. Renewable energy credits
are usually sold in 1 megawatt-hour (MWh) units. A
certificate can be sold separately from the mega-watt hour
of generic electricity it is associated with. This
flexibility enables customers to offset a percentage of
their annual electricity use with certificates generated
elsewhere.
